Since India’s independence in 1947, at least 70 major cities have officially altered their names. These changes can be political, religious, cultural or even just down to correct anglisication of the original Indian’s city name.
In 158 Letters, 26 Indian city names are recorded, each with their current and previous names. Cut out in the notebook are only the letters that changed between the previous and current city name.
2013, Hand cut notebook, 51 pages.
